I think this is what Christmas is about. spending time with family and friends.

anyway, furniture shopping is almost done! there is so much left to do- bookshelves to clear to throw, bag to buy, Christmas cards (!!!) why does this happen to me every year!! it's already the 21st! and the presents, oh God the presents. haha I have already decided to give carolling tmrw a miss in light of the gifts!

I rmb our prom talks on the first day of proper lessons in Sec 1 and the many acrylic hearts that she made for me and the wooden name thing was so nice! and she was super ticklish and super loyal! yeah, that was really touching.

anw today has been mostly great. reconciliation session and caramel banana waffles with Jen TG (haha Jen hope you see this endearment!) and supper with Van and Justin too. so full! esp after the buffetS with Bf oh my. anw looking forward to premiere hehe ;) feels like I haven't had fun in such a long while due to the research eating up my hols. well thank you Lord for being the forgiving God that You are, and most of all for loving me. You have the most beautiful ways of showing me Your love, even with my lighted bathroom door with its cross design when I was crying my eyes out that day.

as I was walking home tonight, I felt like I have been in a sort of spiritual desert. or should I say spiritual iceland, in the spirit of a white Christmas. Spirit of God, set my heart on fire! fire that can blaze in sand or among icicles.

anyway, it seems strange when you rewatch the shots of the many episodes of your life and remember yourself laughing in the strangest feel of a novel experience on the early hours on New Year's Day, engaging in catfights that are anything but playful, and looking up at an exotic person's hands clasped for prayer each morning. it's amazing how different our lives all are, because of wealth, character and purpose. I'm reading a book about a lady who won the lottery- 60 million dollars. It's an intriguing read I must say, how her and her daughter's lives transform.

Sunday marks the first week of Advent! After another looong week at NTU staring intently at the parts of Sprague Dawley rats' hearts and admistering drugs, I am all ready to curl up in bed without a morning call! (: each weekday morning I have to jump out of bed when the music plays softly until the singer says 'what time is it!' haha so yay for me and Bf the weekend is here!! church and Feast Day dinner with Eliz tmrw!
