The housecall patient I went with Dr Kang to see has recovered. I couldn't stop smiling when he told me she responded to the treatment. God is so great!
I will always remember what Dr Kang said to me tonight and look back on this in trying times- It is a privilege, it is God-given. Medicine is not about making money, it is about helping the sick. Whether they are poor or rich, we will see them. God has let everything fall in place nicely for you, by calling you He wants you to do something for Him. He wants you to serve humanity and work for a greater good. It is a long journey. Work hard and always remember that it is a privilege.

Just finished laughing about the Spongebob Gary the Snail character. Hahaha I'm so tickled!!!!! I didn't know he looked like this. Pink!
Enjoyed my dinner of Lamb Chop and good Ice Lemon Tea today. Unfortunately when I'd finished, to my horror, i spotted a mouse two metres away. Yes, a mouse, not a rat. A medium gray (Huis' favourite colour) mouse, with pink nose and feet. My dinner almost came back up. Remember Ratatouille? The rat cook was cute, but the mouse I saw today was pretty cute too. But I think there's no way I can enjoy food served or prepared by rats.
Shopping today was great. Cos SALE has begun! Only at River Island and Zara though, but I think it signals the start of the GSS!
Anyway the weekend looks set to be fun! Just hafta get past tomorrow! And clinic on Sunday. Let the chapters begin (Hahahh hope Tin doesn't read this).

Jen said Huis raves about chocolate, and I rave about coffee (and Jen doesn't rave about anything as she's filled with indecision). My current favourites are
1. Coffee Bean's Blackforest
2. Gloria Jean's Creme Brulee and
3. Mr Bean's Icy Mocha Soya with pearls.
My major feat this week is cycling 30km with Jen and spotting an exotic 20cm long black reptile that looks like a size XXXXXXXXXXXXL lizard. It was like my nightmare come to life. We dismounted and stomped after it to get a picture but scared it away.
I've been listening to Taylor Swift's Teardrops on my guitar.
Make a way for me Lord. Let me take this step of faith.
