I'm back in Sg! Trip was wonderfully misty (: Loved the weather.
Mom had an open wound surgery on her thumb today. A huge ball of bugs (Dr Loh's term) grew due to her obsessive peeling of skin there.
Sleepover was fun too. As usual, I was first to fall asleep. The stuffed tomatoes (with sour plum) and the pineapple rice were yummy. I bet Huis the aspiring baker/cook was super inspired. Shopping was unsuccessful, I bought a grand total of 8......... hairties.
At some point today I felt disappointed.
At another point today I wondered where my self control had taken off to.
I miss the feeling of closeness we shared, how my heart turns brave with you, the security and warm love that only you could give and the faith that you have great plans in store for me. Lord, grant me the gift of resolution.
Light of the world, You step down into darkness.
